Wow- it's been almost a month!

Rough month- my husband was sick then I was sick.  We are both doing much better now.  February flew by!  I was planning on doing a giveaway around Valentine's Day- sorry about that.  But I'd still like to do a giveaway for Feb.  I am going to run it from today until Monday, March 5th.  I have a sweet basket of goodies I've been saving for someone!  To enter the giveaway- simply comment below and tell me your Favorite Valentine gift of all times.

The giveaway includes, some valentine nail files, smooth away hair removal, Bath & Body works lotion, small Clinique makeup bag, sponge, Yankee candle, Elf lipstick ,some Chic Prints for Nails by Sephora and a really nice Stila Eyeshadow palette.

So my favorite Valentine gift of all times- would have to be our first Valentine's Day together- my husband bought me a beautiful silver heart necklace and he wrote me a poem.  He has written me a poem every year since and we are going on 9 yrs.  Gotta love that man :)

  1. Having you as an Americal Supe :) Just kidding, trying to score some points there. I think it would be this year. We were super busy on Valentine's day, and I had Bible Study in the evening. I made my hubby's favorite dinner for him to enjoy with the girls. But it's something I don't like at all. So he gave me a card with money in it to get dinner out on the way to Bible Study. It was sweet that he thought about me not liking what he liked, and made a way for me to still enjoy dinner :)

  2. Oooh, that is a hard one. I dont really remember any that stand out to me =). I have tons of just because gifts that I have loved. The most recent was on our cruz I had been out with some friends and he was out with some of his. I got back to the room earlier than he did but on our bed was a bag of swedish fish laying on my side of the bed! He knows I LOVE them and I just thought that was sooo sweet that while he was out having fun with his friends he took the time to think of me and get me those! Super sweet! Just adore that boy!

  4. My favorite? I'm usually very spoiled on Valentines day. But I think my favorite of all time was one year I opened my card from Cliff and said hey this doesn't look like your handwriting.... He'd gotten me a couple of cd's by David Lanz, one of my favorite musicians and the card with the CD's "happy valentines day, Carolin, love, David Lanz" handwritten. It was incredibly thoughtful!

    1. I can't find the actual comment button for some reason, just reply to comment. But here goes: My fave gift was from hubby a few years ago. I love flowers but hate for him to spend money on them. So one year he got me a huge chocolate covered strawberry "bouquet". I love chocolate anything and they were beautiful to boot.

  5. Eric & I started dating in Jan. 2002, after a couple of weeks I asked him when we were going to start telling others (coworkers, friends, etc.). He kept saying they would find out soon enough, but wouldn't tell me when. I had no idea what that meant. Well I worked on Valentine's Day & went I went into my classroom that day & it was totally decorated with a Valentine's banner, flowers, teddy bear & card all from Eric. What a wonderful surprise & we still had dinner together that night. This was my 1st Valentine's ever celebrated with a boyfriend. So glad that 10 years later we are still celebrating Valentine's Day together.
